KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 17): Former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has been summoned to be present at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission headquarters in Putrajaya tomorrow, to facilitate probes on alleged misappropriation of a foundation's money.

Today, Bernama, quoting an MACC source, reported the MACC had summoned Ahmad Zahid, who is also UMNO president, to be present at the MACC headquarters at 3pm tomorrow (Oct 18). 

Today, The Malaysian Insight, quoting Umno supreme council member Lokman Noor Adam, reported saying Ahmad Zahid is expected to be charged on Friday (Oct 19).

"The Umno president is expected to be charged on Friday, according to Lokman," The Malaysian Insight reported.
