KUALA LUMPUR (March 3) : Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner Latheefa Koya will testify at the High Court here today during former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's trial involving 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).

Latheefa confirmed that she will be at the High Court when contacted by theedgemarkets.com.

Latheefa, who is the 10th defence witness, is expected to testify on the tape recordings on possible attempts to subvert justice in relation to 1MDB.

She may give an insight on the recordings, which the police are also investigating.

The police and MACC have recorded statements from Najib and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor on the tape recordings, which recorded their conversation.

Another witness to testify at Najib's trial today is former MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad, who was also involved in the recorded conversation.
 
Najib's former private secretary Tan Sri Shukry Mohd Salleh is also expected to testify at the trial today.
