Covid-19: 96.9% of Malaysian adults fully vaccinated as of Nov 30

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 1): A total of 22,689,471 individuals or 96.9% of the adult population of Malaysia had completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of Tuesday (Nov 30).

Based on the Ministry of Health’s COVIDNOW portal, 98.3% or 23,028,508 individuals of the adult population had received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Meanwhile, 2,822,370 individuals or 89.7% of adolescents aged between 12 and 17 had received at least one dose of the vaccine, with 86.1% or 2,709,263 individuals having completed their vaccination.

A total of 135,914 doses of the vaccine were dispensed on Tuesday, with 8,313 of them as second shots, 4,703 first jabs and 122,898 booster doses.

This brought total doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 53,517,981 as of Tuesday, with 2,457,510 doses as booster doses.
