<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>However, he noted that despite the hearings being held and attended by 1MDB founding managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Shahrol Halmi, the previous PAC committee did not table its findings to parliament.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>On March 4, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak had ordered the A-G to conduct an independent check of 1MDB's accounts. The A-G's report will subsequently be handed over to PAC for inspection.</p></div>
