PETALING JAYA (Nov 12): The Home Ownership Campaign-Malaysia Property Expo (HOC-MAPEX) 2021 will be held from Nov 12 to 14 at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur, according to a statement on Friday (Nov 12).

This is the last HOC-MAPEX event organised by the Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association (Rehda) Malaysia before HOC ends on Dec 31. HOC-MAPEX 2021 chairman Datul N K Tong said that due to strict SOP restrictions, the number of participating developers has reduced, compared to the pre-Covid period. 

“The event will be the last chance for visitors to have a look at HOC offerings by these reputable developers under one roof,” he added. 

It will feature 12 developers and two agencies under the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), namely the Housing and Strata Management Tribunal (TPPS) and the National Housing Department (JPN).

HOC incentives include a minimum of 10% discount on house prices and stamp duty waivers on the Memorandum of Transfer and Loan Agreement. Besides that, developers may also offer attractive packages of their own to further assist potential homebuyers. 

In addition, visitors of HOC-MAPEX 2021 will also stand a chance to win AEON and KFC vouchers, as well as Starbucks cards, through interactive games. Twenty eligible purchasers may also win cash rebates worth RM20,000.
