KUALA LUMPUR (July 3): The latest offering from Huawei Malaysia, the Huawei Y7 Prime will retail at RM999 and will be available at all Huawei Experience Stores and Huawei Display Zone from July 7.

In a statement today, Hua Wei Technologies Malaysia deputy country director Matthew Ng said the premium range of Huawei smartphones had been performing tremendously in Malaysia.

“We are very encouraged by the strong support received here.

“As a sign of our commitment to the Malaysian mobile devices market, Huawei aims to expand our mid-range consumer smartphones segment, further allowing relationship growth with even more audience segments,” said Ng.

The all-new Huawei Y7 Prime is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Processor with 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage and expandable storage up 128GB.

A device which rocks a full metal build with a sandblasted finishing that gives a premium touch and feel, the Y7 Prime features an impressive 4000 mAh that can last users a full day of activities — be it photography, video recording and catching up on social media feeds.

The Huawei Y7 Prime sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with 1.25µm pixels and an 8-megapixel sensor front camera with f/2.0 aperture, perfect for amazing selfies.

It also features a 2.5D 5.5-inch HD display to protect users’ eyes with eye comfort from long usage and supports a hybrid dual-SIM slot.

The Y7 Prime runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 customisation and is available in two colour options: Gold and Black.
