KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 18): The FBM KLCI is seen drifting sideways today as the local index extends it consolidation mode, with immeddiate support at the 1,685-point level.

Progress in the U.S.-China trade talks helped send world stock markets broadly higher on Friday and pulled investors out of the safety of government bonds, according to Reuters.

Based on corporate announcements and news flow last Friday, stocks in focus today may include: Luxchem Corp Bhd, Astro Holdings Malaysia Bhd, Axiata Group Bhd, APFT Bhd and London Biscuits Bhd.
