KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 4): Glove makers saw selling pressure emerge in the late morning session, and were dragged amid some profit-taking activities.  

Top Glove Corp Bhd, Hartalega Holdings Bhd, Kossan Rubber Industries Bhd, Supermax Corp Bhd and Comfort Gloves Bhd were among the top ten in Bursa Malaysia's top decliner list. 

At 12.30pm, Top Glove fell 4.76% or RM1.28 to as low as RM25.60. The counter had earlier spiked to an intraday high of RM27.12 after rising 0.89% or 24 sen. 

Similarly, Hartalega saw its fortunes reversed from early morning and was 7.9% or RM1.62 lower at RM18.88. Earlier, it had risen as much as 0.88% or 18 sen to RM20.68. 

Supermax also fell into negative territory after climbing to an intraday high of RM19.70 in the early morning session. The stock sank by 5.48% or RM1.06 to RM18.28. 

Meanwhile, Kossan declined 3.15% or 58 sen to RM17.86. It had earlier climbed as high as RM18.52. 

Comfort Gloves, whose share price soared as much as 7.69% or 52 sen to RM7.28 in the early morning session, has also lost all its gains. It was 7.4% or 50 sen lower at RM6.26. 

Rubberex Corp (M) Bhd also gave up all its gains and was 2.13% or 14 sen lower at RM6.42. It had earlier risen as much as 9.91% or 65 sen to a high of RM7.21. 

Careplus Group Bhd also gave up most of its gains, albeit still in positive territory. It spiked as much as 23% or RM1.09 to RM5.83 in early morning session, before paring gains to RM4.81, still up 1.48% or seven sen.
