KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 29): MMAG Holdings Bhd rose as much as 2.5 sen or 26.32% to 12 sen on Friday morning (Oct 29) after announcing that its subsidiary had obtained both the Air Service Licence (ASL) and Ground Handling Licence (GHL) granted by the Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAVCOM).

At 9.44am, the counter had pared some gains at 11.5 sen, still up 1.5 sen or 15.79%.

MMAG was the most actively traded stock on Friday morning, with 84.97 million shares traded.

The company announced on Thursday that its 80%-owned subsidiary M Jets International Sdn Bhd had received the notification of obtaining both the ASL and GHL from MAVCOM.

The ASL is for M Jets to provide scheduled air transport services in accordance with the Malaysian Aviation Commission Act 2015 (Act 771), while the GHL is for M Jets to carry out ground handling services for aircraft and cargo in Malaysia.

The validity period for both the ASL and GHL is 12 months from Nov 1, 2021 to Oct 31, 2022.
