Platinum Victory Holdings Sdn Bhd will be unveiling its new development — Platinum Arena — in Jalan Kelang Lama, Kuala Lumpur, this month.

The development, comprising two 36-storey towers, will sit on 2.9 acres of leasehold land and has an estimated gross development value of RM421 million. The towers will house 728 serviced apartments and 36 shoplots.

The built-ups of the apartments will be 650 to 1,008 sq ft, with an average selling price of RM620 psf. There will be 1,284 parking bays for residents and 131 bays for shoplot owners.

Piling works started early this year and the project is scheduled to be completed in three years.

“Our build-before-sell strategy sets us apart from the current practice in the market. Buyers can see what they are buying and save on interest costs during the construction period,” says Platinum Victory Holdings executive director Gan Yee Hin in a statement.

“People are more willing to purchase a property nearer to completion — it boosts the confidence of buyers and investors in our project.”

The infrastructure of the serviced apartments has been designed based on a sports theme, inspired by the development’s location next to Sports Arena Sentosa.

The development also aims to encourage residents to maintain an active lifestyle.

“Old Klang Road is a mature suburb, strategically located between Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya, that has been revitalised with an exciting array of food and beverage hot spots, recreational attractions and amenities that will serve families and young working adults living here,” says Gan.

Facilities include a gymnasium, swimming pool, basketball and badminton courts, a playground, a viewing deck, yoga deck, rooftop garden, barbecue area, library, games and audio-visual rooms. There will also be a nursery and kindergarten.

Platinum Arena is accessible via Jalan Kelang Lama, Jalan Puchong, Lebuhraya Shah Alam (KESAS) and New Pantai Expressway (NPE). The development is also close to shopping malls, for example, (Mid Valley Megamall) and schools, including SMK (P) Taman Petaling.

Another Platinum Victory project to look out for is a 7.4-acre lakefront commercial and social space development in Setapak called The Palette, which will be fully operational by 3Q2019.
