KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 12): Genting Malaysia Bhd (GenM) is welcoming all guests from across Malaysia to visit its Resort World Genting (RWG) after interstate travel resumed on Monday (Oct 11).

“As Malaysia reopens interstate travel, we would like to welcome all our guests back to Resorts World Genting (RWG). Some of our facilities and offerings are subjected to revised operating hours, limited availability or temporary closure. Kindly visit our website regularly for further information,” GenM said in a notice released on its website.

GenM also noted all its employees are fully vaccinated and ready to serve guests in a safe environment at RWG.

“We will continue to fully adhere to the government standard operating procedures (SOPs) throughout the resort and we seek our guests’ kind cooperation to do the same,” it added.

Less than two weeks ago, the group announced the resumption of business at RWG beginning Sept 30, 2021 with limited offerings, under Phase 3 of the National Recovery Plan for Pahang residents only.

Shares in GenM settled four sen or 1.27% higher at RM3.19 on Tuesday, valuing the group at RM18.94 billion.

Over the past one year, the counter has rallied 57% from RM2.03.
