KUALA LUMPUR: Union Investment Real Estate, the owner of Cap Square Tower (CST), launched an E-App for the building where guests, tenants and the building manager, as well as owners have an e-platform to communicate with each other. Union Investment Real Estate is Europe’s largest open-ended estate asset managers.

“One of the primary objectives of the E-App is to promote and market the Cap Square Tower brand locally and globally using this new media technology on both the IOS and Android platforms,” said Ulrich Dischler, the company’s head of asset management international.

“With the unveiling of the CST E-App, it is yet another value-added service that serves as an alternative channel of communication to enhance our customer service connectivity for our tenants and visitors by using the best available technology in facilities and customer service management.”

Union Investment Real Estate established itself in Malaysia seven years ago. It acquired CST, which was in line with its objectives of selecting globally strategic locations for its investment ventures.

In April 2013, CST obtained the Green Building Index certification and in January 2014, it obtained the MSC Malaysia Cyber Centre certification. It is currently in the midst of obtaining the LEED certification from the US Green Building Council.

Union Investment Real Estate manages more than 350 properties in 23 countries with assets worth more than €26.3 billion (RM109.9 billion) under its management.
