Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd (Prolintas) says it is ready to tender the construction of the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH) and Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) to eligible contractors. Prolintas is the owner of the two highway projects. Prolintas Group CEO Datuk Zainudin A. Kadir says it expects the construction to begin this year despite strong objections from residents living near the proposed highways. Zainudin, who is also the Association of Malaysian Highway Concessionaire president, says 21 tolled highways in the Klang Valley are expected to be fully electronic by the end of this year.
