KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 22): L’Oréal Malaysia-Singapore managing director Tomas Hruska is convinced that when companies create a good place for their employees, the business will come. There is a correlation between staff who are passionate and committed, and results, says Hruska, who has been with the French brand for 23 years. Employee satisfaction is a priority for L’Oréal, which aims to be a company where people can learn, develop their skills and have international careers. Hruska also talks about changing trends in the industry, especially after the last two pandemic years.

Guests can sit at the terrace that offers views of the city skyline, or in the dining room, surrounded by collections of Islamic treasures and objets d’art that span 1,400 years, sourced from three continents. To top it all, its lunch menu offers quite possibly the best deal one can find in the city.

The income they make goes towards keeping their children in school.
