KUALA LUMPUR (March 21): Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd has won a contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the provision of accommodation work boat (AWBoat).

The value of the contract — awarded to Dayang’s wholly-owned subsidiary DESB Marine Services Sdn Bhd — is based on work orders issued by Petronas Carigali during the contract duration, said Dayang. 

“The contract duration is approximately 207 days from the commencement date, effective from Feb 17, 2023 with an option to extend up to 90 days,” the oil and gas services provider said in a bourse filing.

The group said the contract will have no effect on its issued capital, but is expected to contribute to its earnings over the duration of the contract.

Dayang’s share price closed 2.42% or three sen higher at RM1.27 on Tuesday (March 21), giving the group a market capitalisation of RM1.47 billion.
